The Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam, conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), is one of the most prestigious state-level competitive exams. Aspirants aiming for administrative posts in Rajasthan must clearly understand the RAS exam pattern before starting their preparation.
RAS Exam Stages
The RAS exam is conducted in three stages:

RAS Prelims pattern(Screening Test)

- Paper: General Knowledge & General Science
- Marks: 200 marks
- Duration: 3 hours
- Key Point: Prelims is only qualifying; marks are not counted in the final merit list.

RAS Interview (Personality Test)
- Marks: 100 marks
- Focus: Communication skills, decision-making, leadership qualities, and personality assessment.
Final Selection
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of Mains (800 marks) + Interview (100 marks). Prelims is only for screening eligible candidates for the Mains exam.
