RAS Exam Pattern Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam, conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), is one of the most prestigious state-level competitive exams. Aspirants aiming for administrative posts in Rajasthan must clearly understand the RAS exam pattern before starting their preparation.

The RAS exam is conducted in three stages:

RAS Prelims pattern(Screening Test)

  • Type: Objective (MCQs)
  • Paper: General Knowledge & General Science
  • Marks: 200 marks
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Key Point: Prelims is only qualifying; marks are not counted in the final merit list.

RAS Interview (Personality Test)

  • Marks: 100 marks
  • Focus: Communication skills, decision-making, leadership qualities, and personality assessment.

Final Selection

The final merit list is prepared on the basis of Mains (800 marks) + Interview (100 marks). Prelims is only for screening eligible candidates for the Mains exam.
