- India will host 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.
- International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) announced that India is going to host 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, scheduled to take place in October 2016.
- Some important facts -Kabaddi:
- Origin: India
- National game of Bangladesh and called as Hadudu.
- Kabaddi is the state game of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab
- Similar to Kabaddi, chedugudu of Andhra Pradesh, sadugudu of Tamil Nadu and hututu of Maharashtra
- Kabbadi: Not part of sports included in Olympics. However, it was included in 1936 Berlin Olympics.
- International Team size: 7 members
- Time: 40 minutes – 2 halves of 20 minutes each

- However in actual implementation, can be variation like, Giving tax rebate to all citizens and central bank paying taxes to government on behalf of citizens.
