RAS Eligibility, Age Limit & Attempts

The Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam is a dream for many aspirants. Before applying, it’s important to understand the eligibility criteria, age limit, and number of attempts allowed by RPSC.

RAS Eligibility and Educational Qualifications

  • The minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum should be less than 40 years.[For example -If the notification is issued in October 2025, the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years by 1 January, 2026.]
  • A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech, BBA) in any stream from a recognized university, and no minimum percentage is required.
  • If a candidate has already appeared in, or is appearing in, the final year exam, he can apply for these posts but must show proof of passing the degree before the Main Exam.

Attempt Limit in RAS Examination

A candidate can attempt the RPSC RAS exam multiple times and keep trying until they reach the maximum age limit set for their category.
