The Nathdwara style is the second important phase of the Mewar school.
- Main Center: The famous Pitha (shrine) of the Pushti Marg sect in Nathdwara.
- Fusion Style: Combines elements of the Udaipur and Braj schools.
- Pichwai Paintings: A major contribution, these are large cloth paintings hung behind the idol of Srinathji for decoration.
- Themes: Depicts legends of Krishna, including characters like Yashoda, Nand, childhood friends, Gopis, and saints of the Vallabh Sect.
- Color Palette: Predominantly uses green and yellow.

- Image of Shrinathji at the center

- Deities looking down from heaven
- Dense vegetation in the background
- Predominance of banana trees
- Prominent Painters: Baba Ramchandra, Narayan, Chaturbhuj, Ramlinga, Champalal, Ghasiram, Tulsiram.
- Notable Women Painters: Kamala and Ilaichi.
- Started during the reign of Rao Surjan. Later, Shatrusal constructed Rang Mahal.
- Golden Period: during the reign of Ummed Singh. He constructed Chitrshala, a gallery of murals called the ‘Heaven of Murals.’

- Initially, it had the impact of the Mewar school; later, Mughal as well as European styles also influenced it. By the end of the 19th century, it started declining.
