- Airtel Payments Bank Limited or Airtel Bank became the first payments bank in the country to launch live banking services in Rajasthan. The pilot phase of the Airtel bank launched in Rajasthan aims at testing systems and processes ahead of a full scale pan Indian launch.
- Historical Tanot will be developed as new tourist spot as part of border tourism.
- Kota and Ajmer have set up Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Smart City Projects.
- Karauli district launched an initiative for the girl students, ‘Muje Kuch Kahana Hai…’ under which the girls were asked to address their problems to the district administration through letters as part of their emotional empowerment.
- Jodhpur Railway Station would be upgraded to Railway Station of Strategic Importance by Railway Ministry.
- Pali and Jhalawar district collectors received awards for excellence of work in Nyaya Apke Dwar Abhiyaan.
- Rajasthan Tourism logo design was selected and included in Ogilvy Worldwide’s‘Best of Ogilvy 2016’collection of outstanding ideas.
- In order to increase curiosity of students towards science and Jaipur science park, Department of Science and Technology, Rajasthan in association with Google, has initiated a virtual tour of Jaipur Science Park. - Jhalawar Collector, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni will be awarded at National Stage for his efforts to construct Sulabh Toilets in public places.
- Chittorgarh will be awarded National Differently Abled Prize on 3rd december i.e. Inetranational Day for disabled people.
- Pali has become the first district in the Rajasthan where biometric attendance system has been installed for doctors, nurses, lab technicians and other staff in government hospitals.
- Ajmer, Jaipur & Jodhpur have been approved as Solar Cities in Rajasthan.
- Rajasthan Government appoints new Chairmen for various boards:
- Rajasthan State Seeds Corporation –Â Shambhu Singh Khetasar
- Keshkala board –Â Mohan Morwal
- Bhudan Board –Â Ramnarayan Nagva
- Pashupalak Kalyan Board –Â Goverdhan Raika
- RPSC Chairman Lalit Panwar presented Governor Kalyan Singh with First copy ofRPSC’s Souvenir book “Kasoti Rajasthan“
- Member of Parliament from Jodhpur, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, participated in UN General Assembly’s 71 Convention in New York.
- Rajasthan government is planning to open over 2,600 farm equipment renting centers for farmers at the panchayat samiti level in the next three years to enable the state’s farmers to rent farming equipment.
- Rajasthan’s first wax museum has been inaugurated in the city of Lakes, Udaipur. As per museum coordinator Uday Patil, this is the first of its kind museum in Rajasthan and the fifth such in the country.
- Rajasthan’s Dak Bungalows will be developed like three star hotels on public-private partnership (PPP) model. In the first phase of the project, Dak Bungalows in Ajmer, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaisalmer, Mount Abu and Nathdwara will be developed in PPP model.
- Progressive Farming in Rajasthan: Horticulture Department of Rajasthan government  had initiated the olive cultivation project with technical support from Israel in 2008. Seeing the ample possibilities, the state government has formed the Rajasthan Olive Cultivation Ltd (ROCL) in the public-private-partnership (PPP) mode.
- Union minister of state for law & Justice, electronics & IT P P Chaudhary has roped in Mohammad Imran Khan, a self-taught computer programmer and web developer, as member of the technical advisory of an institute under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
- Punjab National Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Usha Ananthasubramanian inaugurated the lender’s first special women branch in Rajasthan at Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. The Vidhyadhar Nagar branch will now run by women employees and will only cater to women.
