On 2nd November 2020, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment against 918 vacancies for the post of assistant professor in various colleges of Rajasthan. The notified vacancies are for various subjects including Botany, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, English, Hindi, History, Music, Sanskrit, Geography, Home Science, Urdu, Law, Punjabi etc.

Scheme of Examination of Assistant Professor College Education 2020
The Examination scheme for recruitment shall consist of a written examination and an interview.
Written Examination
- Written Examination will consist of 3 Papers.
- Objective type paper

The syllabus shall be such as specified by the Commission, from time to time and will be intimated to the candidates within the stipulated time in the manner as the Commission deems fit.
Personal Interview
Such of the candidate who qualify in the written test shall be required to appear for the personality and viva-voice examination, which carries maximum 24 marks.
The number of candidates called for interview will be about three times of total number of vacancies (category wise), the candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in written examination as may be fixed by the Commission, shall be summoned for interview.
