Scheme of Examination for R.A.S./R.T.S. (Mains) Examination – 2013

RAS Mains 2013 had 4 papers, 200 marks each.
1  General Studies – I
2 General Studies – II
3 General Studies – III
4 General Hindi and General English – IV
GS I/II had questions of following 03 types –
A.  20 Nos. – Brief (Answer word limit 15) –  (20* 2 marks ) = 40 Marks
B.  16 Nos.Medium (Answer word limit 50) – ( 16*5 marks) = 80 Marks
C.  4 Nos.- Long & Descriptive (Answer word limit 200) – (4*20 marks) = 80 Marks
Paper – III (General Knowledge and General Studies-III) 200 Marks
A. 20 Very Short answer questions (Answer word limit 15) – (20 x 2 marks = 40) 40 Mark
B. 20 Short answer questions (Answer word limit 50). – (20 x 5 marks = 100) 100 Mark
C. 3 Long/Descriptive questions (Answer word limit 200). – (3 x 20 marks = 60) 60 Marks

Paper – IV (General Hindi & General English) 200 Marks
