RPSC has officially released the RAS 2026 new syllabus on 09-01-2026. You can download the syllabus by clicking on the link “Syllabus for RAS Pre 2026.” This post provides a detailed analysis of the RAS Pre 2026 exam syllabus as published on the official RPSC website.
Scheme of RAS Preliminary Examination:
- The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper on the subject specified below, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks.
- Examination will be screening test only for admission to mains examination and marks obtained will not be counted in final merit. Hence, candidates need to just clear the exam.
- There will be 150 questions of multiple choice (Objective Type), carrying equal marks.
- There will be negative marking.1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
