Main objective of Swavalamban Yojana is to improve the living standard of poor women, widows, separated women and rural women. Women are being provided skill traning through RSLDC and other training institutes in traditional and non-traditional trades.
Till march, 2019, total 12,389 women have been benefitted by this scheme. An outlay of ₹10 lakh is proposed for the Annual Plan 2018-19 out of which expenditure of ₹9.70 lakh has been made.
