Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary

Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Rajsamand, Pali, Udaipur districts of Rajasthan. It surrounds the Kumbhalgarh fort and covers an area of 608.5 square kilometers. The area was a natural tiger habitat till 1970’s and was declared as wildlife sanctuary in 1988. The terrain of the Sanctuary is mostly hilly and spreads across the Aravalli range.
