The system of governance in Rajasthan is as per the guidelines of the system of governance in India. Consequently, the scope of governance in Rajasthan can be divided into three major parts:
- What to Govern – Areas/ Sectors
- How to Govern – Rules/Acts/Policies/Schemes
- Who Governs – Departments/authorities
Difference between Governance & Administration:
In daily course, the words governance and administration are often used interchangeably. But these words are far from similar. While Governance pertains to the formulation/enactment of laws, strategy, policies, etc which is done by parliament, legislative, and executive. On the other hand, dministration pertains to the implementation of those laws and policies at various levels.
