Salmond – “ liability is a bond of necessity that exists between the wrongdoer and remedy of wrong”.

This definition summarises the legal obligation or responsibility imposed on an individual to either perform certain actions or abstain from specific behaviours in accordance with legal requirements.

 According to Section 2 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 “children” includes son, daughter, grandson and grand-daughter but does not include a minor.

According to Section 2 of the Act, “Right to information” means the right to information accessible under the Act which is held by or under the control of any public authority and includes the right to—

(i) inspection of work, documents, records;

(ii) taking notes, extracts, or certified copies of documents or records;

(iii) taking certified samples of material;

(iv) Obtaining information in the form of diskettes, floppies, tapes, video cassettes or in any other electronic mode or through printouts where such information is stored in a computer or in any other device.

Exemption- Intelligence and security organizations specified in the Second Schedule to the Act are exempt from furnishing information under the Act. However, this exemption does not apply if the requested information pertains to the allegations of corruption and human rights violations.

 “Patent” means a patent for any invention granted under the Patent Act 1970. It is an exclusive right granted for an invention, which is a product or a process that provides, in general, a new way of doing something, or offers a new technical solution to a problem. (WIPO).

Ans :The man who tries to avoid effort seems to think that the society or the  people around him owe him a pleasant and easy life.

3. Who does this kind of man blame when he is discontented?

Ans: This kind of man blames everyone and everything except himself. He feels that society is failing in its duties towards him and  he is being unjustly treated.

4. Why does the author suggest that if you have something which needs doing very quickly, you ought to go to a very busy man and not to one who clearly has not much to do?

Ans: It is because the author feels that the man who has not much to do will probably have many excuses for not being able to help, but the busiest man will make time for it if the work is really important.
