07 May 2021: New Marriage Guidelines issued in Rajasthan - RajRAS

On 7^th May 2021, the State Government revised and released new strict guidelines for marriage functions across Rajasthan. The State decided to impose a lockdown in Rajasthan from 10^th May 2021 to 24^th May 2021. The lockdown will be effective from 5:00 AM on 10th May to 5:00 Am on 24^th May.

As per the new guidelines:

All marriage functions stand suspended till 31st May 2021.
The order has banned marriage functions, DJs and marriage processions (baraat).
Only register marriages attended by not more than 11 people will be allowed till May 31.
Register marriages too have to be e-intimated on the designated State portal (Scroll down to important links in home page)
Similarly, no permission will be given for bands, catering services and gathering of guests till May 31.
Marriage gardens, halls and hotels will be closed for marriage functions.
Marriage garden owners and caterers will have to return the advance amount paid by parties or adjust the amount in booking for the next decided date.
No community feast will also be allowed during the lockdown period.

विवाह समारोह के सम्बन्ध में :

a. कोविड के बढ़ते संक्रमण को देखते हुए राज्य में काफी लोगों द्वारा उनके घर में प्रस्तावित विवाह को स्थगित किया गया है जोकि इस महामारी पर काबू पाने में एक सराहनीय योगदान है। राज्य के सभी निवासियों, जिनके द्वारा दिनांक 31.05.2021 तक विवाह समारोह का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, उनके द्वारा इस प्रकार के आयोजन को दिनांक 31.05.2021 के पश्चात् आयोजित कराया जाये ताकि कोविड संक्रमण पर रोक लगाई जा सके।

b. इस दौरान हुए विवाह समारोह में दूल्हा-दुल्हन, बाराती घराती काफी संख्या में कोविड पॉजिटिव पाये गये हैं। अतः कोविड संक्रमण की इस परिस्थिति को देखते हुए विवाह से सम्बन्धित किसी भी प्रकार के समारोह, डीजे, बारात–निकासी, प्रीतिभोज इत्यादि की दिनांक 31.05.2021 तक अनुमति नहीं होगी। विवाह घर पर ही अन्यथा कोर्ट मैरिज के रूप में करने की अनुमति होगी। जिसमें 11 व्यक्ति अनुमत होंगे जिनकी सूचना DoIT द्वारा बनाये गये पोर्टल https://covidinfo.rajasthan.gov.in → eIntimation:MARRIAGE पर देनी होगी। विवाह में बैण्ड-बाजा, हलवाई, टन्ट व इस प्रकार के अन्य किसी भी व्यक्ति के सम्मिलित होने की अनुमति नहीं होगी। शादी के लिए टैण्ट हाऊस एवं हलवाई से सम्बन्धित किसी भी प्रकार के सामान की होम डिलीवरी भी अनुमत नही होगी।

c. मैरिज गार्डन, मैरिज हॉल्स एवं हॉटल परिसर को शादी समारोह हेतु बंद रखा जायेगा। शादी समारोह में विवाह स्थल मालिकों, टैण्ट व्यवसायियों, केटरिंग संचालक एवं बैण्ड-बाजा वादकों इत्यादि को बुकिंगकर्ता द्वारा एडवास बुकिंग हेतु दिया गया अमाउण्ट आयोजनकर्ता को वापस लौटाया जायेगा या फिर विवाह समारोह के आगामी तिथि अनुसार एडजस्ट किया जायेगा।

d. किसी भी प्रकार के सामूहिक भोज के आयोजन की अनुमति नही होगी।
