Sub Inspector Exam 2021 – Notification, Syllabus, Notes

On 2^nd February 2021, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment against 859 vacancies for the post of Sub-inspector Exam 2021. This page has resources to prepare for Paper II for Sub-Inspector Exam 2021

Sub Inspector Exam 2021 – Important Dates:

Scheme of Examination:

• There will be 100 questions of multiple choice (Objective Type), carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Candidates who obtain 36 percent of marks in each paper and 40 percent in the aggregate, shall be deemed to have passed the qualifying examination conducted by the Commission.
• The commission shall send the list of such successful candidates up to 20 times the number of vacancies on the basis of merit based on the aggregate marks obtained in the written examination.

Sub Inspector Exam 2021 – Paper I: Syllabus

1. शब्द रचना : सन्धि एवं सन्धि विच्छेद, समास, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय ।
2. शब्द प्रकार :
   • (क) तत्सम, अर्द्धतत्सम, तद्भव, देशज, विदेशी ।
   • (ख) संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया, अव्यय (क्रिया विशेषण, सम्बन्ध सूचक, विस्मयबोधक निपात)
3. शब्द ज्ञान : पर्यायवाची, विलोम, शब्द युग्मों का अर्थ भेद, वाक्यांश के लिए सार्थक शब्द, समश्रुत भिन्नार्थक शब्द, समानार्थी शब्दों का विवेक, उपयुक्त शब्द चयन, सम्बन्धवाची शब्दावली।

5. व्याकरणिक कोटियाँ : परसर्ग, लिंग, वचन, पुरूष, काल, वृत्ति (mood), पक्ष (Aspect), वाच्य (Voice)
