To promote cultivation of medicinal plants, make raw materials easily available to pharmacy sector in sufficient quantity along with several other objectives the Government of India launched this mission in the State in 2009-10.
The mission is being implemented in all districts of the State, since its inception. Government of India has renamed the mission as National Ayush Mission and designated the Ayush Department of Rajasthan as nodal agency for implementing the scheme.
